I may be the last person on earth making tri-color astrophotos using hypered Tech Pan and Acros film.  These pictures require three exposures on black and white film using red, green, and blue filters.

My earlier photos were shot on E200 and printed in my darkroom on Ilfochrome.

  • Rho Ophiuchi Nebula, a cloud of dust and gas surrounding Antares.
  • Orion area, Horsehead&Flame nebulae, Orion and Running Man nebulae, Barnard's Loop
  • M31, the Andromeda Galaxy
  • M27, the Dumbell Nebula. This is the remnant of a star like our sun after it runs out of fuel and explodes.

  • M20 Tricolor on hypered Tech Pan and hypered Acros
  • NGC 1977, the Running Man nebula
  • M1, the Crab Nebula, a supernova remnant. Also an airplane
  • M33, the Triangulum Galaxy, captured through a C14 onto three sheets of hypered Tech Pan film, using red, green, and blue filters.
