• Caption: NGC 6995, part of the Veil Nebula is a supernova remnant. The shock wave from an exploding star fluoresces hydrogen and other gasses in the nearby interstellar medium. Image was captured on three sheets of hypered Kodak Tech Pan film with red, green, and blue filters. Glowing hydrogen exposed the red frame, and glowing oxygen created the green image.
